Beyoncé’s performance at Coachella on Saturday was historic. Not only was she the first woman of color to headline the festival, she may have inadvertently started a grassroots movement for a Beyoncé University.
After Beyoncé Knowles’ star-studded, heart-stopping set at Coachella Saturday, fans couldn’t help but notice the inspiration she drew from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) for the evening’s performance.
