Of course Donald Trump is the kind of person who has time to rant on Fox News but not to bother to get his wife a birthday present. 

Yet somehow, after nearly three years of him being such a major presence (ugh) in our daily lives, it’s still a small surprise to find out that this is how he rolls.

The revelation came at the very top of what turned out to be an absolutely mind-blowing half-hour phone interview with the president on his favorite safe space, “Fox and Friends.” 

Right out of the gate, Trump wished Melania a very happy birthday, but, when asked the hard-hitting follow-up about what he got her for the big day, Trump had to admit he was literally empty-handed. Well, except for a very nice card! Read more…
