Facebook deleted private messages sent by CEO Mark Zuckerberg and senior executives years ago without notifying the recipients. Deleting messages is not a function that Facebook offers to ordinary users, despite Facebook-owned WhatsApp and Instagram offering varying abilities to unsend messages.
