Deadpool is known for his raunchy humor, but apparently there’s a line that even the fourth-wall-breaking character won’t cross.
Ryan Reynolds, the star of Deadpool 2, told Entertainment Weekly that there was one joke that 20th Century Fox wouldn’t allow in the movie: a joke about Disney. Reynolds co-wrote the movie with writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, and he wasn’t exactly happy about the joke being cut.
“This is a sore spot for me because there’s a joke in the movie that is not in the movie now because — I’m probably not even allowed to say this — Fox made me take it out,” Reynolds told EW. “It had more to do with Disney, and they made me take it out.
