Surprises might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but David Beckham’s reaction to his birthday surprise is the sweetest thing on the internet today.

The former footballer was just having a casual birthday dinner when his eldest son Brooklyn rocked up out of the blue to surprise him.

Victoria Beckham, who was in on the surprise, filmed Brooklyn walking through the door of a restaurant as David was eating.

“David,” Victoria said in an effort to draw his attention to the person who’d just entered the room.
