Forget about reading and writing — there’s another “R” of life that takes precedence: Refurbished.
The term typically refers to a device — say, a laptop, tablet, or smartphone — that’s been gently used, but later fixed up by an authorized repair center or reseller so that it works and looks good as new. It’ll pop up often if you shop around for affordable Apple products. Since new models rarely (if ever) go on sale, your best bet in finding a bargain is to buy one that’s been refurbished.
